Well we know your temp was good, your mold was clean, and your alloy was clean. I am guessing you have done this Once or twice before. Yeah yeah I know I was just being funny.

Good looking boolits, Jim.
I, too, did some casting yesterday, breaking in my new Accurate 430-215C mold, designed by our late friend John Kort.
These were out of this-and-that range scrap, sizing to .430 and lubing with Lyman red, for smokeless loads in the .44 WCF rifle.
Not as pretty as yours!
I don’t know what you mean about some bullets being pretty awful. I don’t have any bullets that I have cast that look awful. And there is no evidence of my casting bad Bullets. Course I have accidentally dropped a couple of hmm beautiful perfect Bullets back in the pot ACCIDENTALLY. Yup I am sticking with that statement.
