Well, that's out of my price range anyway, BUT....without examining that in person there's no way I'd drop that kind of coin on it. I'd really want to go over all the markings, box, etc very well.

Just my opinion, but it looks like it's been refinished. Especially if you look closely at the markings on the barrel, not as sharp as they should be. The box also looks like a reproduction. Just hard to believe that there is absolutely no wear and tear to a 113 year old paper and cardboard box.

I wrote it earlier...?...that Colt has several things wrong with it, along with the words of the ad...unprofessional....I MIGHT offer $2500...if I wanted it.
OK.....I have this NIB Colt that's 113 years old and I may gonna take one shytty pic of the case colors....(hint..they ain't Colt) I'm gonna put it in a newly manufactured box along with a box for loading stuff......(I've seen plenty of new guns/boxes from that era and guess what? Even if you don't touch them or the boxes...they still age). Because I have this fantastic Colt I aint taking no chances on possibly running it up to a million dollars....nooooooo....,I'm gonna set the price high and then tell everyone that it's advertised elsewhere so you "better hurry" .....the blue is off color..it's refinished and the advertiser is a liar. .liars try to hide their lie by taking crappy pictures and try not to let you see too much then come up with a hillbilly excuse...that's not the way the pro's do it.
It individuals like that that screw it up for everyone....that's big loot there....someone ought to be held liable for the fraud.-6

Someone(s) else already said it but, poor pics (and not very many especially for the price, but even at 1/10th that...). Like the caliber and year though!
