Ever see 'pliers' like these...?
I remember a pair of 'parallel-jaw pliers' my mechanic uncle had 50 years ago, but they looked nowhere near as solid as these.

Interesting.
I'm pretty much a zen and motorcycle maintenance guy and have had...discussions with people in the past about using the right tool for the job.
Watched the video, but couldn't pick up the brand or model of these.
correction, did a search a different way, might these be Knipex brand?

Yes …… Knipex. Have a pair over yonder on the wall.
Well they are supposed to be on the wall. Must be on the work bench.

I had my wallet out and went to the Knipex web site and couldn't find what you showed a picture of....

I have a couple pairs of those, the smooth jaw ones are great for doing work on sailboat rigging that is soft stainless or bronze. High quality tools.

I’m sort of a tool junky. Hey how many of you have titanium hammers?
I picked up a pair of these at Home Depot a while back. They work as advertised. Another specialty outfit it Vampire Tools. They make some really good broken bolt and screw extractor tools. They have saved me many hours, busted knuckles and more than a few swear words.

Busted knuckles cost, but I thought swear words were free? (grin)

Makes me cringe to see them on gun parts, even if it is just a muzzle brake. Wrenches wont slip and round over parts.

I've had many needs for parallel jaw pliers. These would be great added to my tool box.
I doubt I'd ever use one on a gun but there is many other uses.
