Colt reintroduces the King Cobra 3" barrel, stainless

I wont be buying one …… at least not new. But I'd be more then willing to ease someone else's buyers remorse and trade off some of the newness for a deep discount in a year or two or three.

Don't need one in my collection will stick with my S&Ws. I like the trigger pull more on the S&Ws, Two 3 inch .357s and a .44 Mag

Looks nice! Wish they wouldn't etch those QR codes or whatever they are onto guns, though.
Have you hugged your rifle today?

What was funny to see was a couple of gun rag articles where that gun was written up as being "new" and "innovative" or some other words like that...
...Yeah, back in 1910 maybe that would be true.

Reminds me that I have an unfired "safe queen" King Cobra - Special NRA edition won at a Friends of the NRA dinner back when.

I could just never warm up to the cylinder release latch on the Colts. I recognize the collectibility of 'em... but if I was to have one, I'd want to shoot it, and be willing to carry it, and the cylinder latch... well... seems backwards!

Griff,
Agreed on all points; maybe that is why I still shoot my Model 18, 19s , 39s, and such, but not the Colt.
I grew up with a S&W and others just do not seem to fit .
This reminds me of a teen age "fast draw" pic taken my older brother. If I can find it I will post here.

For that particular gun, I'd prefer the longer barrel, though, but I'd use it more for woods-walking or at the range (...or just lookin' at cuz it's cool... )
For revolver-CCW duty, I already have Small (NAA 22 WMR eyeball-shooter), Medium (Charter 44 Spl Bulldog), and Large (Redhawk 45 ACP/Colt).
