I had an old Ithaca 37 that needed love....and removable choke tubes and a ventilated rib.
Wrote an article about the journey on my web page
www.rvbprecision.com
Lots of pictures and verbiage. Hope you enjoy it

I couldn't get your web page story to open. I would like to read it as I own a model 37 supreme skeet in 20 gauge. I bought it new many years ago (1980`s??) on a huge discount sale. I am a little ashamed to admit I have never fired it. What are they worth?

That's a beauty! The web site was undergoing maintenance. It should be working now.
Unfortunately, these Ithacas aren't worth much. There are just too many of them. But this allows a great "Poor Mans" collectable.
I would suggest your rifle is worth $600 - $700 as it is in great shape and fewer than the average #37 were made in Supreme Skeet.
Now get out there and shoot it!

Nice job, Roy !
I like Ithaca 37's - mine's an unmolested Model 37 Deluxe Deerslayer combo, with a 24" slug barrel & a 28" plain (no VR) bbl.
I bought it off a used gunrack in 1985, and have never shot the plain bbl - only the 24" unchoked Deerslayer bbl for everything.

Worked for me, Roy.
I like the original issue Ithaca RayBar fiber-optic front sight better than a brass bead, but I'm an old retread.
