Not me or connected to me in any way.
I saw this and imagined someone here could make good use of this to bring a suitable receiver back to life.

.
My $0.02 - Those parts may be a little warm...…………….
I mean, who in their right mind would part out a BigBore94 w/o the serially-numbered receiver ?

Re: 375 Winchester 94 Big Bore Gun Parts Kit
Law Enforcement confiscated firearm. Municipality will not let them auction off the complete firearm but will let them sell them to 'GunBusters' to destroy the receiver and salvage the remaining parts for resale.
I've bought parts this way and resurrected or restored a couple of other firearms. Mostly shotguns & muzzle loaders.
Check their other auctions out.

Not a a great situation seeing these guns destroyed but sometimes it is a good way to restore another or find parts to support an old, rare firearm.

My bad - I was unaware of that process (sorry).

Oh no problem …… it is something most people are unaware of.
I only learned about from a retired gunsmith who I was asking some advice from and he pointed these auctions out to me. Before that I always thought the 'gun parts kits' were either the demilled sub machine guns or cheesy after market stuff to make 10/22s tacticool or stuff like that.
Sometimes you can get a great deal but other times stuff gets bid up way out of proportion …… which I guess is the case in any auction setting.
