Malcolm 6X Short Telescopic Sight on a Rossi 92

Hi Folks,

New to the forum and looking forward to some good discussions. I recently got a Rossi 92 in .44 mag and 24" octagon barrel. I want to mount a Malcolm 6X Short Telescopic Sight copy of the circa 1855-1895 William Malcom Scope. Has anyone ever done this? They make a mount to fit a Winchester 92, but I'm unsure if it will also mount on the Rossi. Thanks!

They are clones, my guess is it will work but ya never know!

If those win mounts are the side mount setup then yes, that's probably what I used.

There have been a few issues with the Leatherwood Malcolm mounts breaking under recoil on guns. The .44 mag might be a case I'd wonder about it happening on? Have no personal experience with this combination.
