Winnie started her labor. The first pup born at 8:25.
Last puppy was (Parker) at 2:47 am.
Just about now ( 1 year ago)...

I took her to town Saturday morning to go visiting. We stopped at the vets office, she got weighed( 61lbs) and a couple cookies.
Then we went to the pet store- more cookies.
Also stopped at the bank where she made a withdrawal of more cookies.
Then we stopped in at the beauty salon where a friend of mine works. No cookies but Parker found her absolutely most favorite thing in the world! A 2 year old little boy, I dont think the kid has any freckles left on his face! It's a wonder he didn't drown from all the kisses she gave him!! This was the first little person she has encountered.
When we got home she was so pooped out that she immediately flopped by the back door and crashed.

Sounds like a perfect pup birthday! Can't believe it's been a year already! Our girls both celebrate next month, although they're two years apart. Blackie the wonder mutt will turn 1 and Biscuit the bulldog/pit cross will turn three. Guess which one's the mean one? It's funny how pups get excited about small humans. When the small human reciprocates it's very special!
