Yes that link works.
Now the next question is do you have a steam engine that will run it if the power goes out?

Nice picture of a fantastic project!
Your other pictures sort of make me miss my time in MN.
But I had to go to the Cities, for both the office and various projects in the surrounding communities. Did not live in the Cities, but about an hour north, so city problems could still find you.
Wife and I took many weekends, weeks, and any time we could get away to go to various lakes, Superior, and many points in the north.
The Cities, traffic, situations and people in the Cities, made us look elsewhere.
Finally retired into the Black Hills. One big advantage here, drier, and much less bugs!
Your part of MN. looks good and your projects look great.
My wood pile is not quite like yours, but still working on it!

Thanks, i`d love to live in the black hills but land seems pretty high out there.
We`ve lived here for over 60 years other than military and travels and would like to live somewhere else in our last years but don`t know if it will ever happen.

Nice going! My wood was cut last fall and drying in my back yard. Around the end of September I will move it into my garage and start checking my neighbors maple bush for blow downs and thin out undesirable trees in his maple bush. ie ash, elm and sometimes choke cherry. I am feeling pretty good now so as soon as the crops are off (soy beans this year) I will sharpen up the saws get out the 4 wheeler and get too it. Only burn about 4 cords.

I only use a couple of air tight stoves. One upstairs heats most of the house and when it gets real cold (0F or so) I fire up a small stove downstairs to keep pipes from freezing. also an oil fired furnace and heat pump.
Is that OWB in the background your heat source? They do tend to use up the wood.

Yep it`s a forced air stove, i bought it about 25 years ago and its done a good job but is hungry when it gets -20F.
I like winter though things quiet down a lot , sounds like you got a good setup. :)

We get that -20 and colder too. When it gets down there wood consumption goes up too. But sure is nice heat.

I'm real envious of that wood pile  haven't started mine yet, my landlord's daughter has taken over the barn for hay and straw, only room for a couple of weeks supply now.. :x

Thanks fellars, before i built the drag saw we wouldn`t start getting wood up until fall after the leaves fall and cooler and do it all in a few weeks.
But the drag saw is so slow that it takes far longer so we pick away at it all summer which is ok as it isn`t much work.
O nly have a couple cords left to do. :)
