They are the second item listed on the "available now" page.

I made a much simplified copy for myself out of .75" x 1.5" wood slats. I made each let 32" OAL which I quickly found out was too short. I'll try again someday but the next set will be be taller by at least 20 inches.

Karla does not have Wind's Okanogin shooting sticks any longer, even though they show on her site. And she has no plans to offer them anymore either. I got the last set of unfinished sticks when we assembled the 10 stick sets Wind had ready to go to the Quigley this year before his death. Karla graciously made me up the leather pieces so I could finish this set, and have them to use. Mine are not Wind's quality, as the set I have was less than perfect and he used them as a pattern, and would never have finished them to sell. Wind was very particular about what went out of his shop, and only perfection would get sold.
I also have one of Wind's prone sets that he stopped making due to lack of interest from shooters. I rarely shoot prone, but love them for the rare occasion I do. Copying the sticks would not be tough, but getting or making the leather barrel guards, strap, and all the nickeled fittings would be tougher. The bits and pieces to make the sticks adjust, and hold so well are the key to how well his sticks worked. The sturdy double stick, with one single side is also unique. Wind's sticks are not legal for certain shooting events. BPCR wont allow them as they're too sturdy. Quigley approved them, as had other small venues.

Those look pretty neat and very solid.

If anyone here gets the itch to make a set, in lieu of nickle hardware just go to a good “chandery” — boat supplies — as you will usually find a large assortment of stainless steel hardware.

Tight groups.

This is my pair of prone sticks. They're of oak, ¾" by 1-½" with the stakes inletted into the wood. I make 'em 3 different lengths, these for prone, another for sitting and the 3rd for kneeling. There's some overlap in each size to allow for different terrain, for differences in shooter's sizes. I've sold them in oak, walnut and cherry... and am waiting for some mesquite to dry before cutting it down. Those'll be VERY expensive... just try to buy mesquite wood in 42" lengths... of any dimension! I used to (like 20+ years ago) advertise them in the "Single Shot" magazine, but didn't get very much response. All the fittings on mine are stainless. Now that I'm not home to assemble them readily, it can be months before I'd get around to filling an order.

I made my first 2 pair in the late '80s and used them at my 2 visits to the NRA BPCRS Nationals in Raton in '90 & '91.

The big difference in Wind's Okanogan shooting sticks is they don't need to have any spike or sharp point to secure them to the ground. They also can be used just as easily on concrete as they are on dirt. The leather strap that adjusts the spread on the legs keeps the legs fixed, so once you've got them sitting on any surface they wont slip or move.
The two legs on one side and single leg on the other makes them very solid too. Just a great design, and made of cherry wood, so they look great also. All the nickeled hardware that Karla provided, plus her gorgeous leatherwork made for a very nice product!
This is one of the last videos Wind and Mo did for their YouTube video series called Sagebrush Longshots. He's using his Okanogan shooting sticks. Looks like Wind's 650 yd. dinger to me.

The nickel hardware on Wind and Karla's sticks is very small. Not sure a boat shop would carry anything that small for boat use.

I made this one about a month ago out of curly maple a deer antler and some brass wire, wax string and brass screws with the heads filed and polished.Mounted the antler to the stick with a wood screw pointed ant both ends and JB WELD it ain't coming off.
