Finally Polishing the Internals

Post by Griff »

Got started on polishing the internals for my new Pre-'64 Winchester 94. First parts: The guide rails.

It took some doing to simply find these. The right one is polished, (pretty well, but still needs a bit more), the left is as received.

Next will be the carrier... and I'm hoping to engine turn it. I've never done this before, so it'll be an experiment in the working of the piece!

Good job Griff. Those wouldn't be the ones I sent you would they? If so, I hoped they helped buddy.
"Oh bother", said Pooh, as he chambered another round.

The ones pictured are not... but the ones you sent were finished a few minutes before... before I took the picture to show the "before & after".

Good deal Griff. Just happened to think of it when you posted. I had to go back and look at my PMs. I thought it was you I sent em too. I hate how scarce parts are getting. :(
