Far be it from me to put words in your mouth. But, those are the same ol' arguements. A rattly ol' Winchester just balances better. To me. But, pretty pictures are impressive. Good lookin' levers.

Nothing quite as pretty as a bunch of levers standing side by side.
I have four of my levers hanging on my gun rack in my reloading room.
Along with all of the knotty pine, they take the room back to the 1940's.

Actually it's the new Winnies that rattle like loosie goosies. My older ones are nice and tight.
It's the Marlins that don't sound right .
And you don't need to take the Winchester 94s apart for cleaning unless you drag them through the mud. All the dirt, grit and junk usually just falls out the bottom .
