On all two stage triggers I have played with the trigger does move the sear some in the first stage until the trigger
Itself rides onto the second stage cam surface upon which the leaverage of the trigger changes and moves the sear a
Greater distance with less trigger travel but with more effort until it releases thehammer/striker. All of my experience has been with military rifles.
