Winter Range

Post by Paladin »

Wife and I drove down to Phoenix to see some friends at Winter Range. We watched most of the stages for a while and walked through the vendor's tents. Taylor Firearms was there with some VERY nice leverguns and the new Alaskan levergun takedown model that I really liked just not as much as they did. The link below is to their website for the Alaskan.

That price for a .357 mag? If it's for Alaska, you'd think they'd do a 45-70.

Interesting, but I will stick to my 1892 .357 with 20 inch barrel.

It's nice but they sure are proud of it.

Weather at the house has not been as nice in the mountains a few hours north but much better than Alaska currently. So we shoot matches south in the winter and north in the warmer times.
