so what's up with Rossi leverguns?
I've asked this question last year, but I am not seeing Rossi levergun's for sale anywhere? I went to their US website and all they are offering is leverguns in .45 Colt, nothing else. Was thinking about a .357 mag, but no go... :O

Last year, Rossi closed 4 old factories in Brazil with plans to open 1 new factory.
I don't know when the new one opened / or is going to open.
I guess only time will tell as to what they will produce in the new factory, both in regard to product range, and quality.

I've been looking for a Rossi stainless .357 for a couple of years.
I finally bought an Uberti '73 in .357.
I am quite pleased with the Uberti, even though it was about twice what I wanted to spend and is an oct bbl rifle instaed of a round barreled carbine.

I was really bummed out when they discontinued their 45/70 Rio Grande levergun a few years back. I wanted one in stainless.

My buddy's Henry outshoots my Rossi so badly I'd be ready for a trade. But the Rossi is a "grandkid favorite" which I always thought shot pretty fair until we started shooting the Henry. Maybe I need to make room for two .357 rifles in the stable.

I love my Rossi 92 carbine. I was a bit down to hear that they might not be making them in .44/40 anymore.

YAHOO! FOUND ONE!
Today I went to a small gunshow a half hour from home and stumbled over a older, but perfect condition Rossi Model 92 SRC in 38/357.
I know it is an older one because of no cobbled on safety on the bolt.

I have one in octagon barrel .357 slicked up by nat. Will now shoot hollow points snub nose. Wad cutter s 38 and 357 all mixed up without missing a beat. Main problem was extraction till nate fixed it. How much is it worth now?

There is a pawn shop near me that has had a Rossi 44/40 on consignment for the last three years, if anyone is interested... :)Carlsen Highway wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2018 6:51 am I love my Rossi 92 carbine. I was a bit down to hear that they might not be making them in .44/40 anymore.

I've had four of them over the years, I expect I will end up owning that one one day too....
