Oddly enough, I got my first "please join" AARP solicitation back in 1986...

Somehow those tools decided that 1967 was actually 1917 or something.

Also, FWIW, within the same week I got a solicitation from a Monastery to be a novitiate... and I'm not Catholic.

Given the weirdness of my life, it might have been a good decision to "identify" as a Retired Monk in 1986...

Sigh.
