My new used Bear protection for fishing trips to Wyoming and Montana. Model 29-8 Mountain Gun in 44mag with some fresh cast RCBS 44-250K bullets. Might have to get another 44mag lever gun to go with it. I sold my Rossi Puma years ago and now regretting it. The Henry big boy steel isn't lookin to bad.

I like it. Matter of fact I like it soo much I've had one like it for 5 years. Mine will also shoot the Lee 310 grainer pretty well. Very nice revolver.

Very nice!! I had one in .41 Mag that shot really well. I sold it with the intention of getting one in .44 magnum but something else must have gotten in the way.

IMO, a 310 gently exiting and poking along at 900 fps is some very serious handgunning.

Marvin, that "Mountain Gun" is very pretty and very awful from the business end and I think you need a lever carbine to go with it. I'd look for me a B92, put a sling and a receiver sight on it and call it good.

There’s at least a couple of us, 95% of my handguns are revolvers and the auto loaders are 1911s or Browning HPs
That’s a big 10-4 on the B92 with a receiver sight.
