.32 Winchester Special Model '94
I've been working on this deal for a few weeks and was finally able to pick it up yesterday. Stopped by the range on the way home to see how it shoots.
Dates out to 1949.
Picked up a box of Hornady 165 FTX. Slim pickens on the .32 SPL around here.
Looks like it's a keeper. Have to order some dies, etc.

Re: .32 Winchester Special Model '94
Thanks Jack!
Still in replacement mode. It's coming up on two years since I got sick and some of my stuff was sold off.
Just down to a couple more. A 2 1/2" model 66, WWII Ithaca 1911A, Russian SKS and get the Super Blackhawk re-worked like my old one.
Getting there.

When your ready for the 1911 A1....let me know......or for that matter any military 1911 from any vintage and manufacturer.....most of these guns are in 95% condition or better...some are new unissued in the original Kraft boxes. Remington Umc, Springfields, Colts, Ithaca, Union Switch and Signal, Savage slides, yes, even a Singer. My buddy has several hundred of these and is starting to sell off along with every Garand, 03,03A3, carbine, German Luger, P-38, and others ever made.
The Russian SKS?...dime a dozen.....easy find....even I have a couple of those. ---6
You want to have a fun weekend?.....get a suitcase of cash and we will spend a day in a room you won't forget.----6

Wow.
My kid would flip out. Hey, toss in a G.I 1911 for me.

Re: .32 Winchester Special Model '94
And as for the post topic.......I really like the 32W.S.
Here are some of mine. Disregard the Marlin as it's a
30-30. Next to it is a 16" Trapper I built fir my dad about 30 years ago. We were ringing steel with it last week.
Of the four in the other pic, the left most is a SRC from 1907, next is an early 94 rifle (1897) that was returned to the factory and had a 64 front clip installed along with the 56 Lyman. It don't look like much, but they put some time in it. This is the single most accurate 94 I've ever owned. Next is a clean 64 standard rifle I've had for 15 years or so. On the right is a pre-war carbine I bought a couple years ago with an unfired, first year 10/22 for 400 bucks.

Re: .32 Winchester Special Model '94
Nice looking stuff! I really like the trapper.
Jack,
I'll be in touch about the 1911s. I know the Russian SKS isn't hard to find but the one I had wasn't import marked so it had been here awhile.

Copy that Jason....hey! This "Old Win." guy keeps coming up with guns I never heard about...as to him owning these......I think he is holding out on me....wonder what else he has stashed away.....NIB 86's?----6
Re: .32 Winchester Special Model '94
Thanks Jason. The old Trapper is pretty neat. It just "has a feel" I can't explain. To see my old dad shooting it was a treat.
Six.......bro! I ain't holding out on you, old buddy! I told you, I only got one 86. They weren't real popular up here. To hard to hump the thick woods and hills with.
Oh, its a 26" octagon sporting rifle in 45-90 from 1888.
Now, about those 1911's. I don't need a minty one, or a rare one. Honest wear is ok. Need it matching, mechanically tight. My Birthday is in December, so you got some time still.
Thanks, buddy.

Re: .32 Winchester Special Model '94
I have a Win Mod 64 in .32 win spcl cal.Tried several factory loads and all in 170 grain were good ,some a little better but not enough to use only that brand.Worse ones were the Hornady Leverevolution with the soft tip.Federals were the best with Rem and Win tied for the same groups.Tried handloading years ago but the results were poor..32's are known for shallow rifling. Also get a good pull thru cleaning system.Even with a bore guide you may damage the crown and wonder where did my good shooter go.
Good shooting. Magtip.

Re: .32 Winchester Special Model '94
I have one of the Winchester 94/64 factory rebuilds. Double proof marks. My rear, action and buttstock date 1911. I was talking with a vender at the Gunshow this weekend. He had one on his table. It seems they were more common than I thought. Mine wears a Lyman tang sight w/o wind age adjustment and shoots right in line. It's the best shooting 32 Special I own.
This is plagiarized from someone else, but I love it!
