Some photos fellers.
70yards off hand.
Barley fields have been hammered by pigeon local to me so I have been doing my bit.
The above shotgun was shooting high. So in the field I broke it down and bounced my 15 stone on the barrel to give it a slight bend. Worked a treat, hardly missed a bird after!

Great pics, Nath !
I'm waiting for the next step, from you - strapping a camera on some animal, so you can get a picture of you shooting it.

They are called first select by Eley. A 7n'arfs target cartridge. They were given to me for a good cause.

I like your hi-tech method of adjusting the elevation on your shotgun!!

Re: Recent photos.
Aloha Nath, awesome pictorial as usual. Are those pigeons native or invasive? Are they seasonal with bag limits? I LOVE shooting pigeons and doves, I used to have an extermination permit for them at a local dairy, no closed season, no bag limit. My freezer was full of breast meat. Used to love wrapping them in bacon and roasting a few minutes. Aah the good old days...

By the way how is the wild boar population doing in the UK? Have you ever had the opportunity to hunt them?

Thanks for the pictures Nath. Glad to see Jess doing well too. Guess our little Chiuaua/Yorky is gone for good. Disappeared last evening so probably a coyote or owl got her. We have pigs here too so God only knows. She was so small a black snake could have swallowed her.
I once used your method of adjustment on an 1100 barrel that got run over by the dog trailer while we were hunting Pheasant in the far end of the Oklahoma panhandle.

They are way south and way north of me.
Here is hoping though!
