Another good dog gone.

Post by piller »

Our dog Balto passed away last night. He was a black mouth cur and a rescue dog. We couldn't have found a better dog. Sadly, he had a heart defect and he only lived to be 4 years old. RIP my friend.

Sorry for your loss, Brian.

There's really no good age to lose one of our canine friends.

Sorry for your loss. Four years is too short.

This is week number two without my doberman, I do feel what you are going through. I am truly sorry. I keep asking myself, as bad as it hurts now would you have traded a minute of it, He## no. So we go on.

Sorry man, it's such sad thing. We're still having a tough time dealing with losing our Dane a couple weeks ago. We'll get another but it will be awhile.

Very sorry for you...Ours had a heart defect too... Dern little sumbitch would spit out his meds...We went thru every kind of subterfuge to get his meds down him.... In the end pills in beefsteak didn't even work....Got so weak he'd fall over some times... Bad on us for letting it go on too long..Our Vet made a house call ... Our voices were in his ears when he went... Not a day goes by that we haven't thought of him... The pain is getting better... He was with us nine years..This helps...

My condolences. Unless one is a pet owner, or more correctly, owned by a pet, they will never understand the importance they play in our lives and our sense of loss when they pass.

Prayers for you and yours.

Thanks all. He did give good memories and he loved all of us wholeheartedly. Someday we will open a new chapter with another big dog. For now, we are showing our small dogs, terriers, just how much they mean to us. They really do seem to understand that Balto is not coming back.

My condolences sir.
I have a service dog and could not imagine my
life without him.
I was diagnosed with TBI and seizure disorder about
a year ago.
I even take him to my deer stand and if I am shooting
or hunting I put cotton in his ears.
He has given me a new outlook on life and before
I got him I was in a pretty dark place.

I don't know you but I can imagine your sense of loss.
I hope you decide to get another friend and companion.
