It started out as a MkI in 1873 and was subsequently upgraded to a MkII. In 1900 it was converted to .303.
I don't have a full photo but these show that she is pretty good condition, the seller says the bore is excellent.

I had one of these in carbine form many years ago. It was "lively" with full-bore hunting ammo, and fun with black powder and cast, although it fouled quickly with the latter propellant.

What loads do you plan to shoot in it?Is it able to handle the Mk 7 303 loads?

From what I've read they're able to handle MK VII loads but I'll start out with what's available on my gun shop shelves.
At present it's still with my dealer waiting to be licensed, a lengthy process in Western Australia, unfortunately
