We got up early this morning loaded the Jon boat and headed back in the hills to a lake where the RR grade ran by.
Seen lots of wild life but only got one Bass and threw him back, good video of a few beaver working on their house. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnQRmzE5m0Q

Every time I see one, I forget how loud they can tail-slap the water. Todd

Thanks buddy, the only thing I don`t like about these lakes is there`s no shoreline ya stepp off the bank and it`s all down hill from there.
Probably 20-30 foot deep or more.

Pitchy, that is a beautiful lake, just being there would be enough without any fish. Thanks for the photos.
In the first picture are they loons or ducks??
Thanks Jerry, those were loons.
I seen something today I`ve never seen, in the last picture ya can see a channel that goes between two lakes.
When we came through there a red squirrel was on the bank, it jumped in and swam across to the other side, I never seen that before.

Looks like a beautiful place to fish. I'm a bit envious. That lake sure looks like it must have fish in it.

That is really beautiful pard. Love seeing that calm water. Looks like good fly fishing water to me. I just gotta get this knee working to where I can get in and out of the boat.

Went out last Friday with my nephew for smallmouth bass, and they were very slow still! Had to drag a crawdad artificial along the bottom extremely slow to get a hit. We got about 20-25 bass all day, but none of any size.
