Most of the family range day

Post by OldWin »

Got out Sunday for some shootin. Had the range to ourselves, as usual. Sorry, no levers this trip. :(
These are wifey, running plates with a Glock 19, and firing her first shot from an AR (a hit at 100yd).

Next up is our oldest running his AR, our middle son with his home defense 12ga., and both having a plate race with pistols.

Then the old man pretended to know what he was doing and coach the oldest's girlfriend, then show up the kid with his own rifle.

Thanks buddy.
Kinda bummed our youngest couldnt make it. It was his 25th birthday, and he was supposed to come up, but he had to stay with the boat cause he is the only ET. Of course, they never needed him, so he didnt get to be with us or his wife this weekend........figures.

That's family fun, now you can get back to some more reloading.

Yeah, haha. I did little shooting. Ran around loading mags, helping out, and taking pics. I had a blast.
I try to keep lots of ammo ready to go. When a chance like this comes, I don't want lack of ammo to be an excuse.

Nice pictures Jay....and it sure looks like nice weather too. With all of those semi auto's I bet you burned up lots of ammo along with being bent over picking up the brass. How's the back? :D

Btw, how is the Dillon working out for your boy? ---6

Hey Jack!

I left all the 9mm, I already got a bunch and it ain't really worth loading at under 200 a case. Even .45acp has come down but I got tons of components for that thanks to a buddy of mine. :D I pick those up and load em.
I also save all the 5.56 but haven't been loading it lately.
I should have brought my brass catcher though! I forgot, as the AR in the pics is my kids rifle.

Cody hasn't been home enough to get it up and running yet haha! His boat has been in dry dock in R.I. since you sent it to him so he has hardly seen it. He is almost done with it now so he should be home soon.
Thanks again for cutting him a great deal, bud.

Youngest called Friday and asked if it was too late notice to come up this weekend. Are you kidding!? Come on up bud. Made a range trip to make up for his absence last weekend.
Shot my Rossi .357, the 2nd gen SAA .357, my old S&W 66, his S&W 442, and my H&R M1 (got a pic with the clip in the air). Had a blast!
