Winchester .348 200 and 250 gr Silvertips
A long time Winchester collector friend has found a few boxes of original Winchester 348 component Silvertip bullets in his reloading room. These are new old stock in 100 count yellow boxes. A couple boxes each of both the 200 and 250 gr weights. I have poked around the web looking for past transactions to set a value on these full boxes but have not found anything. Anybody have some idea what these original boxes of Silvertips may be worth?

If the boxes are in good shape they are worth more as collectibles than as bullets.
New bullets are 33 (for Hornady ) to 110 a hundred (for premium like A-frame or partition ). So their value as bullets is somewhere between that.
Are yout sure they are 100 countil and not 50? All mine are 50 ct.

I was told they were 100 count...but will check.
They are considered collector boxes and bullets....maybe for a 71 collector display.

I've loaded some of my 250 grainers for chrono testing. I think I have a couple boxes (50 each) left but got them for a dollar per pill - the guy thought he sold me the brooklyn bridge! I also found a box or so of 150gr SP in my travels. Interesting, but nostalgic value only. "348 - the TRUE-est 35 caliber"
I'll probably leave them as-is but I can't take it with me after all. Just betting I'll live another week and life is for procrastinating...
