No Fault Divorces
Decluttering the house and we found this in an old note pad of my FIL:
One man to another. We got one of those no fault divorces. She didn't take everything.
I got to keep whatever fell off the truck off the truck in the the driveway!

Yeah, but you know why a divorce is so expensive? Because it was worth the, peace of mind and quiet solitude!
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

That's the reason it's Women and Children first on a sinking ship...so the men could die in peace and quiet.

Re: No Fault Divorces
"No Fault Divorce" is a misnomer. It really means you're BOTH at fault for getting married in the first place!

No fault Divorces is the reason the Divorce rate {50%+} is so high. Not a good thing if you are the male and make more money than her.

My ex got my half of our 53 acre farmette in Maine.....and my horse. Dam I miss that horse. When we moved up to Maine I had a 48 foot covered wagon half full of my stuff, when I left Maine I used the smallest uhaul that had its own motor, with my 10 year old thunderbird(with a blown up engine) towed behind and the uhaul wasn't half full. Well worth it, except the horse.
a Pennsylvanian who has been accused of clinging to my religion and my guns......Good assessment skills.
