If it had rained about 12 more inches, then you might have needed a boat.

We just finished over 160 days of rain. You get it all at once, we just get it for 8-9 months continuous. The rain normally stops July 5 and we get summer for 6 weeks, then it starts all over again.
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.

My wife tells this story of when she was in bible college. It had rained every day for a month or so and walking to class she met a friend heading back to the dorm. The wife asks, "Where are you going"? Friend replies "Back to my room to re-read Genesis."

Unlike most of the folks here, I like rain. Finally busted our drought. In fact, more rain for this weekend. That's very late for us, but we'll take every drop we can get. Now if the darned fools would only maintain their equipment and not flush billions of gallons down the drain cuz something broke.
