NAME change... 30-30

Post by 1894c »

I've been going by the handle of "18994c" here for a while, because I owned and just bought a 2nd Marlin 1894c in .357 Magnum (both JM, one was pre-safety). Why the name change--because I couldn't resist the going price that these leverguns are going for today, and I had a couple of offers. So yesterday I sold both, I have never made such a profit on a gun before. Will I miss the 1894c, probably, but lately I've been hunting with a Marlin 336 in .30WCF, so life is good ... :)

This may get confusing, theres already a well known member using w30wcf. When I first saw your post I was wondering what he was going to change his name to.

I reckon the name change was approved by somebody in charge, I thought the same thing too.

Cool, that should alleviate that issue. Thanks!

30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres
