The club I belong to is 'semi-wild', this designation allows us to bird hunt into mid March. Last night the club sends out an email saying the bird suppliers pheasant flight pen came down with the high winds. Lots of birds escaped! With 2 more weeks to hunt he offered us chukars but NJ won't allow us to stock chukars. Apparently the state permitting process is worse than a 3 ring circus. Imagine that...
Phone calls to F&G yesterday were a waste of time as ' the mailbox is full'!
Think I'm going to propose to the club that we need to get permitting for pheasant,quail and chukar. Then maybe this won't happen ever again.
Please guys,- DONT TELL MY DOG, she will be unbearable if she can't hunt!!!

No Griff, frisbee is verboten! She will only play with dummies or birds. The birds are a heck of a lot easier on my shoulder- I don't have to throw em!!
