Look.
I got me a pepperbox here.
This thing shoots 6 times, sometimes all at once.
It is called a Lady's Companion.
In Fort Smith, there is a sportin' lady named Big Faye.
She was shot twice with this thing,
but she dressed out at 300 pounds
so none of the bullets found their way to the vitals.
But against ordinary people it gives good service.
Who said it!

Mark Twain mentions the Pepperbox in "Roughing It." As I recall he talks about the owner aiming at a barn and fetching his neighbor's mule ...

That's too cool, I'd buy one. Surprised it wasn't done sooner.
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres
250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!
