Trail Cameras-- Now with Les' Trail Pics....

Post by Blaine »

What can I expect in the way of quality and reliability for about $100?
How far away will they "trigger" to take a pic or video?
I'll be shopping at Cabela's because I've got lots of points built up.
I need to catch some neighbor dropping Dog Bombs at the end of my drive....

Blaine, I picked up a two pack of Stealthcam STC PX14 cams at North Forty Outfitters in Oct. on sale for $99 pair. Have hundreds of pix of deer, elk, black bear, coyotes. One night time picture has four coyotes in one frame. Very satisfied.

Pm me your email addy and I'll send you a few pics off the trail cam. You can make your own decision. I got pics of the neighbor's dog, a trespassing Hunter (I identified him and had a talk with him). Pretty useful little tools.

I have one of the SteathCams also. It has worked very well for me. Not sure of the model, but it cost me less than $100 when I got it a few years ago. Takes good pictures both day and night and nice little videos. Sounds like Les got a better deal at 2 for $100.

Wow ... for under $100. Pretty high quality.

Blaine,
This might help...even though I love dogs......it's a #6 bear trap and I've never been able to set it.....it take 410 pounds per side.......I can send it to ya......get yourself a couple of big C-clamps. Might even work with nosy neighbors.... :D ---6

It's not a dog actually doing it. The HAG across the street thinks it's my Odie, and she's scraping it up and bringing to my place....I went thru the same dang thing with that BeeeYotch 2 years ago....
