I like that guy....Sad that anybody in this great country has to defend one darn thing that is legal to do. "Urinate" on Hoplophobes.....

Mike is a real stand up guy. I really enjoyed his show. He is now doing a tech school thing to get people to learn trades.

As others have said, I also have always enjoyed Mike Rowe on TV. But I got to liking him more when I heard him on a talk show telling the host that he felt college wasn't for every kid coming out of high school, and we needed to encourage kids to get into skilled trades where appropriate, and make sure those so inclined weren't pointed the wrong direction.
Now I read his reply to this fan girl who was attempting to stir up trouble for Mike Rowe, and love his response! No politically correct apology, or BS explanation. Just a simple here's where I'm at, and you have the right to not agree! Pretty refreshing to see such an intelligent and great response to a stupid poster.

I heard somewhere that Mike Rowe was an opera singer at one point. Now tell me, how can one be an opera singer and go on to butchering a cow to shoveling road apples to getting skills back in the hands of our country NOT be a well rounded person!?
