My step son.....sheesh
This kid has got to be the best natural shot I've ever known. I've been shooting over 30 years...trained by uncle Sam, family, and some really good law enforcement schools and he can shoot circles around me with any rifle he touches. It is amazing. 3 deer this year between 40and 60 yards. All head shots. One with a 30-30, one with a 45-70 and one with my 300 blackout AR.

Gotta be very good if you take head shots, because a shot just six inches off is way more likely to cause a horrible lingering death than if you're aiming for the heart. Given the fact that not only I'd have to make the precise shot, but that the animal might happen to jerk or move just as I shoot, I won't take a head shot; good for him if he can do it though.

Honestly. It's amazing to watch. He can do it on squirrels with his little henry lever 22LR.

I can still outshoot my daughter. By a teensy bit. And I shoot all the time while she shoots twice a year when she comes to visit.
I'm afraid it's not just younger eyes but younger muscles, too.

The picture of the deer is a bit too graphic but you should see his smile! Those 250 grain TSX are nasty business

Y2K is a better natural shot than I am. Especially now with what passes for my eye-sight. Nothing wrong with doing some bragging on the next generation!

SightHunter is a better natural shot on game than I am.
I did take a head shot on a wild pig a while back when hunting with CRS and a few others. I was using a Ruger .44 Mag semi auto carbine which I had purchased from CRS previously. It is exceptionally accurate.
