Pretty much... I believe it the way it was recited. But... I have been known to add some "bells & whistles" to my 1911s... leverguns, not so much!

The 1911 was a major evolution in the handgun. For some people apparently it ended there. :lol:

Being raised on revolvers, I never owned a 1911 but do understand their history and value to those that do own or have owned them. The were such a successful design!
Same as Browning's lever action rifle designs(I do have some of those). 8)
