The Devil's Going To Make Me Do It...
Daughter politely asked for money for Christmas. That's not a problem. I do think, however, that I'll get a couple hundred in ones, wad them in little balls, and put them in a coffee can....

Don't just get singles, get rolls of change as well! Couple quarters, dimes, nickels AND pennies!
Wrap it all up in the biggest box you can find, the coin adds weight and she will be so confused as to what you got her that you will have a good chuckle!
Years ago I wrapped a box of 22's for a buddy, each round was wrapped! Boy did he cuss me as he unwrapped 50 22's! I laughed and laughed. Come to think of it, that's about the time we started wrapping everything with duct tape!

Yea...I heard the same here.....I was a peon forklift driver and my daughter has a masters in bio-chemistry. WTF?? The only way I could keep peace in the house with the wife was to give in.
All the years growing up and after that for that matter, I knew better than to ask my parents for money. The answer would have been the laugh of the century. Probably why I've never been broke in my life.
Now you know why guys keep a "stash" and other things like secret tunnels from the garage to the basement that are just wide enough for a receiver to fit through.
On to that...my BIL (we married sisters...Italian ones) came over yesterday and wanted to use my box # at the post office for a mess of stuff from Buffalo Arms. In his house, his wife gets the mail...in mine, I get it.----6
