Took a lunch a little early and got over to an indoor range near by. Too darned nasty out to be at the gun club this morning.
Right out of the box with no adjustments to the sights or trigger. All I did was wipe the factory goo off and clean the barrel.
Range was '50 and shooting was done two handed without a rest.
Load is 230 gr LFP / 4 grains of Bullseye.
I think this will work.
A little more practice and some more exercising and I'll be back to doing this one handed.
I'll get some better pictures if the sun ever comes out again!

There's supposed to be 15 rounds there but I hid one under the empty magazine!
The guy in the stall next to me brought his German 88mm. Sounded like artillery piece going off and I just about jumped out of my sneakers! Never got a look at what he was actually shooting.

With that shooting I bet you could cut it in half by using what the gun was originally designed for....185/200 SWC's with 4.5 grains of Bullseye or 5 of 231.
Yea, sometimes we get guns that will be life long buddies. Good for you.
(I like the part of the 88mm......it reminds me that when silhouette shooting, it seems I always get the guy who uses blackpowder is next to me.)

That's only a problem if you're downwind!

No! The big "boom" destroys what little concentration I have. Now, go to your room and drink two teaspoons of molten lead.----6
Jack, the 185 SWC / Bullseye load is what I grew up shooting 1911s with. My Grandfather turned out thousands of those for my dad and my uncles. I was shooting them well into my 20's. I have his mold, just have to get this casting thing figured out.
