Grand rooster.

Post by Nath »

I got me a grand rooster today, after adjusting the stock of my latest flinter.
I passed on two (as I don't want to kill everything) and was amazed at the size of this one!

Beautiful bird and very big too. It's been many years since I have lived in pheasant country, always exciting when a rooster comes up off the ground.

No sir.
I mean thin main wad and a wet fibre wad to hold the shot in!

It seems a full heavy wad clears the shot better on emerging from the barrel.
