I don't get it......I see that mount all the time but they are mounted the other way around to be able to get a 500 meter zero with the scope bottomed out on elevation. What's the guy trying to do, shoot 3 feet low at 10 yards?---6

Six he would be 3' high at 10 yards, lowering the objective makes you raise the muzzle its like filing off the top of the front site.

He's trying to get a 3,800 yard zero with the scope centered on elevation.......and evidently, succeeding.... 8)

I guess this guy's mount is even sillier...

...but he was shooting 740 yards..............

.......that is, 740 yards further than the mere 3,800 yards the other guy was shooting....

That's 4,540 yards.....

(actually I think it is 'only' 4,538.5 yards, according to my meter/yard converter... :D )

However, the guy shooting 3,800 yards hit a 36" target, and this guy's shots are almost twice that far apart, so maybe he's not that much better......although adding another 740 yards of wind and drop and so on can't exactly be easy.
