I parked my Van there one night at WalMart, and the deli had good fired chicken, and potato salad....

Always a fair "fall-back"... While seafood ain't an option, that place on the water we ate at... or its landlubber cousin would be excellent.BlaineG wrote:I parked my Van there one night at WalMart, and the deli had good fired chicken, and potato salad....
I wonder where the "duck call" folk eat?

Could always try out the Duck Diner that Willie Robertson owns.

Wasn't on the 10 best list for Monroe... ate at Catfish Charlie's... had the steak... twas not the best I've had, but more'n acceptable. Load up tomorrow and head for Dallas! Get to go cowboy shootin' on Sunday!!!Rube Burrows wrote:Could always try out the Duck Diner that Willie Robertson owns.

I had me an Election Victory Dinner tonight at Black Angus. A pound of rare prime rib with killer horseradish, loaded baked, and Caesar salad. I remember a time when I could polish off the Mud Mountain Pie after all that, but I was full long before I finished every single bite.

Warehouse No 1, Pine Street? on the River. Best seafood in the city.
I knew the woman who made it hers, and helped build most of the exterior and decks, etc.
There is a great Cajun BBQ place across the bayou from NELU. Wish I were 22 again in Monroe!
Miss the ArkLaMiss!!!

I have never ate there. I heard mixed reviews about it.
Enjoy the Cowboy shooting.
