Thanks to all of my "Levergun" brothers that took the time to wish me a Happy 69th birthday!

Tomorrow, Saturday Nov. 5, the Texas whitetail season opens and I will be in my box stand that I built in the early 1980s. It's still in it's original location, right above the intersection of two ravines. Across one of the ravines, about 70 yards away, is a flat that has two deer "super highways" crossing it. Many good memories, through the years from that stand. My oldest grand daughter killed her first buck there, our middle grandson killed his first buck there, my wife has killed many bucks there over the years...

I really don't care if I shoot a buck in the morning or not, just being out there with my memories will make me happy.

OBTW, I'll be carrying my Rossi 92, .44 mag, and my old 3 screw Ruger, both loaded with a MiHec 250 gr boolit in front of 20.0 gr, of IMR 4227, just in case...

Thanks again, Treetop
