At the gunclub today in Atglen, Pa. on our last long range buffalo match. In fact, nobody had the pallines to hand it to me.....I was told it was already in the back of the Jeep.
On inspection, I was pleased.....my very own Chia Pet, although slightly modified by my buds. ----6

Well,
First I'm going to "grow" the hair on it.....might have to use a little fertilizer....got pleanty of horse manure and greasy chicken skin laying around.
Then, after its "ripe" in a couple of weeks, I'll take a before and after picture of it.....the first pic will be the completed head and the next picture (my wife says she don't want this version of a Chia Pet in the house) will be the results........after filling it with water........of a 53 gr. Sierra Benchrest H.P. bullet traveling about 3700 from my Remington 700 Varminter 22-250. ------6
Overgrowth requires a weed whacker and/or DR Trimmer/Mower.

I think you're on the right track for growing the your fine Chia Pet, and finishing off the growth cycle too!
