moisture content,

I am not a reloader, but curious. Will moisture affect burn rate and chamber pressure of gunpowder if you are loading in a high moisture atmosphere as compared to a low moisture atmosphere. :?

I've always had the understanding that humidity did not much affect smokeless...BP will to some extent take on a small iota of moisture. The west side of WA is so damp, I wanted to know that myself when I started loading.

What Blaine said +1 . I live in SW Washington also and have never given the humidity level much thought. That said, I always keep my powder containers tightly sealed and load in my heated shop where there has never been any rusting or other humidity problems.
