Dunno, but neat rifle! I've always liked the combination of button mags with half octagon/round barrels.

Cool old rifle. My old 94 SRC has had the magazine shortened so that it shoots tight groups.

That old rifle just amazes me how accurate and flat shooting it is, one of my favorites. :)

There's just somethin' about the character of an old gun....especially a classy model such as the 1894. That half rd./oct. is a seldom seen special order.

Can I have it? :D ------6

Me too . Like the looks and they seem to balance and handle really well; also seem to be more accurate than the full magazine rifles.

Got a photo of your target?

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

A 1894 winchester made in 1819 shouldn't that be 1919 :?

Just saw this, Pitchy. That 30-30 of yours is a beaut.

Pitch, that's indeed a humdinger. I have always liked the half round barrel and a half magazine on a lever gun. A fella would be mighty proud to put a whitetail in the freezer with that sweet classic.
