My nephew from the West Palm Beach area called a little bit ago and said they were all ok and going to bed now. They got a little roof damage and a couple of leaks, nothing bad. Praise the Lord God.

Probably for the best. I know there has been some looting already in evacuated areas in Charleston. Looters should be shot on site.

All is well here in Samsula/Port Orange!
No damage to any of the 12 houses on our road. Just tree damage.
Started cleaning up the front yard just after the eye passed by.
Could not see my lawn due to all the tree and leaf litter. Most of that is already cleaned and piled up for removal.
Still have to do the back yard. No Flooding at all here, but it was bad near the beach,
Water surge was over US 1 in Port Orange. Good thing it stayed off shore!
Hope you guys in GA and SC are ok.

Good to hear, Rihmfire. My folks lost their home in a flood here in Oregon about 20 years ago, and what a stinking, heart-breaking mess it was to clean up.
