Henry Big Boy .44 mag.

Post by fgarnold »

I would like to install a barrel ladder style sight in the 3/8" dovetail for the rear sight. Has anyone done this and what type did they use. There seems to be a question if there is enough room between the dovetail and the reciever of the rifle. Thanks for your help.

Hi Fred,
If you use this one shown on the left, it will work just fine on the Henry BigBoy. They aren't cheap but they will work in the 3/8' dovetails and won't bump into the frame

I just read on the forum that Skinner sights is making a ladder sight, you might check with him for info.

Nate,
Are those from MVA or someone else? I wouldn't mind putting that one on my son's Big Boy.
