Looks like they are a little past annealing. Maybe some duct tape will do the job.

Just solder the splits! Careful though- too much solder will reduce case capacity!!
When I used to shoot a lot of 25-20 that was common. But shooting pasture poodles can cause ya to shoot a lot!
