Just picked this up,it s a replica of an 1851 Swiss muzzleloading rifle made in the 70 s by the german firm vollmer.There only about 1250 made, came with period bullet mold 41cal.

Vall, I just checked the Oregon regs and the minimum is .40 or larger for black bear, deer, pronghorn and cougar. So this would work. I thought .40 was the minimum as I have a .40 flintlock poor boy on order from Roy Stroh.
Barbarossa, that really is a swell rifle. Can't wait to hear how she performs at the range with that aperture rear and semi-schuetzen butt plate.
