Kim Rhode -- Medals in her 6th Olympic Games
This is a 2012 posting about Kim Rhode (click for link) telling of how she'd won her 5th Olympic Medal in London 4 years ago.
She just won a bronze in Rio -- her sixth consecutive Olympics medal win today (Friday) -- capturing the bronze in the skeet shooting event at the Olympic Shooting Center. Doing so, she becomes "the first female Olympian to medal in six consecutive games, and the first summer Olympian as well".
She also shared a great quote about the Second Amendment in the article about her win (click for link).
Way to go Kim!

She lives here in SoCal and I've had the privilege of watching her practice at Prado Shooting Park in Chino. Simply amazing. The range employees have of course watched her many many times and have commented that she is like a machine in her precision & repeatability: it is like the broken clays pile up in one small spot on the ground, she hits the clays at the same location in the air every single time and the pieces rain down into a small pile.
As I understand it, she bought a new thrower not long ago. When her practice session was over and us normal guys got to shoot, it seemed like the clay was launched at 5,000 mph and was in the next county before we even knew it had been launched. A testimony to the consummate skill of not only Kim, but all of those who shoot at that level of competition.

Kim Rhode, who won the bronze on Friday in women’s skeet, came out for Donald Trump, saying, “I’m definitely Trump! He’s very much for the Second Amendment.”
The media wasn’t happy about that and pressed, “But as a female athlete who just made Olympic history wouldn’t you want a woman president?”
Rhode wasn’t fazed by the pressure to vote her lady parts and support Hillary. She said, “You know I mean definitely having a [female] president would be incredible just not Hillary.”
