Take that 686 and send it to Kolar or Briley for a set of full length tubes for the 20, 28 and 410
I've got a Krieghoff K-32 that was made in the early 60's that I need to send and have Kolar tube it . But I also have Browning Superposed skeet guns in 12 , 20 , 28 and 410 so whats the point since I have no intention of competing again !
Circa 1970 Superposed 28" 28 gauge when I got it .
Circa 1970 Superposed 26 1/2" 410 when I got it in the Browning hard case .
Circa 1962 or 1963 Krieghoff K-32 30" 12 gauge .
Sorry to say I have no pics of the Superposed 12 and 20 in Photobucket !
Circa 1928 Parker VHE 28" 20 gauge I shoot some .

I aint to crazy about tubes.....But I would like to have a 4 barrel set....or 4 separate matching guns.....but its too much $$$$$
I've done all three routes . And at the moment I have all four in Browning Superposed . Had a Citori 4 barrel set for awhile and had another K-32 before with Kolar AAA tubes . Without a doubt I shot the best with the tube gun . Good set of tubes sets you back $1600-1800 . Quality four barrel set will set you back about 6G's now . The four Superposed I have set me back in excess of 10G's and I got all four of them for very good buyer prices .

The aromatherapy was just what I needed this morning.
Reloads for my O/U were really nice to shoot. Length of pull for my Beretta is a bit long for me,
Gun does not fit me ......But managed to shoot a 23/25.
Also shot a round of doubles skeet, and missed 2. Shot that with a Beretta AL2 semi auto.
Love that smell on Sunday morning.
Ain't no aromatherapy like the old paper shotshells......say pre 1960. A couple of times a year I blast off a few just to smell the cases. Reminds me of when I was a kid hunting pheasants......when we used to have them.
I even put these fired shells under my pillow to give me sweet dreams.-----6

I used love comparing the different smells from the many paper shotshells I used in those far off days....
Whatever you do always give 100%........... unless you are donating blood.
Griff, I used to load AAs with black but caught Cabelas selling IAC brass at a very attractive price so I now own a dozen boxes of them. They even take Large Pistol primers. I need to get out and empty some of them that have been loaded way too long.

Federal or Winchester was still loading some paper shells in one of the better grade target loads just a few years ago. Theyd be worth buying some just for the smell. It was one of the loads my dad was using a few years ago when he was shotgunning a lot.
