Dixons gun makers fair
Hey guys I've been kinda busy lately. Trying to make a few bucks to get my daughter through school without owing her life to a bank. But I thought I would let you guys know about Dixons gun makers fair this week the 29-31. They are located in Kempton PA its for muzzleloader gun makers but I know some of you guys like front stuffers. Its been getting leaner the past few years. Probably because of the economy but still a good show. I hope to make it this year. Its a long drive from central Kentucky and I'll be traveling by myself and I don't care for long drives that much anymore.

Never been to the fair but I've stopped by the shop a couple times .

Re: Dixons gun makers fair
I ran into these 'muzzleloading' [cannon] guys at one of the Friendship IN muzzleloading festival/shoot/jamborees a few years ago, and have always wanted to get involved in that sort of shooting. Seems way more 'relaxed', and not as 'political'......(of course me being me, I cut my teeth on the 'political' aspects of gun ownership, and am not going to ever back down on that, since it IS the fundamental difference between a TRULY 'progressive' society, and the socialist hell-holes our LibTard 'progressssssives' want to emulate.... )
Have a good trip, and maybe if you haven't done so, check out the Friendship events - they won't be as far a drive for you...!

Yeah its a bit of a drive for me too....about 40 minutes. Greg Dixon is then guy who taught me to reload black powder shotgun shells for my old hammer guns. I bought my lefty flinter there too like 20 years ago. The fair is a fantastic time. They have a reproduction of a rifling tool they used for original rifles, watching them use it all weekend to rifle one barrel gives one a new respect for the gunsmith of old.

Doc, I usually go to the spring shoot at Friendship. The two events are good but Friendship is for shooters mainly and Kempton is for builders. I like the gun makers fair for the seminars and suppliers.

Unfortunately it seems I will be working day 13 straight, on Saturday. Hope all who attend have a great time. Mossy If you see a lefty 32 cal flinter that's not too expensive. Text me.
