I'd be leery of the base metal, given that there isn't exactly a way to do much testing on it, and the uniformity is terrible.

On the other hand, a 45 ACP isn't really a high-pressure, high-stress item, and it WOULD be pretty unique.

If I were a multi-millionaire, I'd go for it.........but then again.........I'm not......!

Hmmm. A savvy businessman, making a pair of toys that cannot be duplicated, truly one (two) of a kind. Something for an ultra-rich multi billionaire with nothing else to spend his money on, will pick them up just so he will own the only two on the planet...

I had a hard time justifying the purchase of my $450.00 RIA 1911...
